One-Click Observations are sets of images obtained every day from our global network of telescopes and made available to you.

You can browse and grab thousands of observations, covering all sorts of night-sky objects in the northern and southern hemispheres.

Our database of observations contains over 200,000 images, corresponding to more than 13,000 hours of observing time, or, in other words, 1 and a half years of non-stop observing.

Observations can be grabbed using credits and the cost of each observation ranges from about 0.6 to 0.8 credits.

You get a 30% discount for all the One-Click Observations acquired in the last 24 hours.

You can also benefit from the 30% discount if you reserve future One-Click Observations by upvoting them, through the Future Observations page.

You can grab multiple One-Click Observations of the same object through Observing Bundles, at an additional 10% discount.

Gold users will receive a 20% discount on all one-click observations that are older than 24 hours.

Each grabbed observation comes with a color JPEG preview and also with the original monochromatic FITS images in various filters. These original FITS images can be downloaded and post-processed by you to create a stunning looking astrophotography picture.

The post-processing of these FITS images represents the core of astrophotography. You will find lots of step-by-step video guides on our tutorials platform showing you how to process such images to create colorful astrophotography images.

The FITS images that you download are already calibrated using an optimal set of calibration frames (Bias, Dark and Flat frames), and are therefore ready to be post-processed straight away.

Each One-Click Observation is usually composed of 1h to 1h 20m of observing time, but this can vary.  The individual exposures within each observation are obtained using either broadband filters (Luminance, Red, Green and Blue) or narrowband filters (H-alpha, SII, OIII).
