You can access our Blog and Academy without any subscription. You can also browse our Gallery without any monthly plan.

However, to observe with our telescopes, and use One-Click Observations or Advanced Requests, you need to subscribe to one of our plans.

You will also need a subscription to access our Standard or Premium tutorials.

Telescope Live offers three paid subscription plans created to better diversify our offering to you, based on what aspect of the platform you would like to use.

The plans are called Bronze, Silver and Gold. We offer a 1-week free trial for the Silver plan.

But let’s see in practical terms all the differences between the various plans with a careful examination of each one, starting with the lowest – both in terms of cost and functionalities.

THE BRONZE PLAN

The Bronze plan is designed for those who are getting started with astrophotography or remote imaging.

In the Bronze plan, you will receive 5 credits per month to grab One-Click Observations at any time.

One-Click Observations are the easiest and most convenient way to obtain images from our telescope. The average cost of a One-Click is 1 credit, but a 30% discount applies for One-Click Observations obtained in the last 24 hours, and to One-Click Observations that you book in the future.

With your Bronze plan, you will be able to upvote (or reserve) up to 2 future One-Click Observations at a time. You can read more about future One-Click Observations here.

On average, with your Bronze plan, you will be able to grab up to 8 One-Click Observations per month. Each One-Click Observation has a total exposure time of 1h to 1h20m.

Moreover, with a Bronze plan, you will have access to the standard video tutorials produced by our world-renowned astrophotographers that will let you improve both your observation and post-processing skills. We publish new tutorials every month.

Lastly, you will also have access to the community and to all the learning resources.

As you might have understood, this subscription plan addresses all the novices and for who is on a budget.

THE SILVER PLAN

Here things are starting to get interesting…

Instead of just  5 credits per month, you will receive 20 credits per month.

This is enough to let you grab up to about 30 One-Click Observations per month, on average.

You have the same discounts as in Bronze. You can get a 30% discount for observations obtained il the last 24 hours, and if you reserve them in advance.

However, with a Silver plan, you will also be able to reserve (or upvote) up to 5 future One-Click Observations at a time.

With a Silver plan, you will also get access to a feature called Observations Bundles. Bundles are collections of One-Click Observations of the same object, obtained with the same telescope and set of filters. By grabbing a bundle, you will get an additional 10% discount.

But wait, there is more!

In fact, you will have access to all the premium video tutorials.

The premium video tutorials are masterclasses curated by world-renowned astrophotographers, that will enormously increase your processing abilities.

Finally, with the Silver plan, you will be able to take full control of our telescopes through Advanced Requests

Advanced Requests are specifically designed for the most demanding astrophotographers. They allow you to tweak every aspect of your observations and to obtain the highest quality raw images. 

Telescope prices range from 30 to 150 credits per hour of utilisation, depending on telescope model and moon phase. (The full telescope pricing list is available here)

As with the Bronze plan, you will have access to the community and to all the learning resources.

THE GOLD PLAN

The Gold Plan is our most premium plan. You will get the best of Telescope Live, with plenty of credits to grab all the observations you want, and also to submit Advanced Requests.

With your Gold plan, you will get 50 credits per month. This is enough to let you grab up to about 80 One-Click Observations per month, on average.

Here you will get all the features included in the Silver plan, such as:

• 30% discount on One-Click Observations obtained in the last 24 hours, or when reserved in the future
• Access to Observation Bundles, and get a 10% additional discount
• Access to all the premium video tutorials.

• Access to the community and to all the learning resources.
• The possibility submit Advanced Requests.

But, on top of this, you will get:

• Reserve (or upvote) up to 15 simultaneous future observations
• Get an additional 20% discount on all legacy observations, e. One-Click Observations obtained earlier than 24 hours ago (in other words, you get a 20% discount on all our legacy database of observations, in addition to the 30% discount you get when grabbing observations obtained in the last 24 hours)
• Get a 20% discount on all Advanced Requests. This means that, if you set up an Advanced Request with the Silver plan it is going to cost you 100 credits, instead it will cost you only 80 credits.

Finally – and this is very cool – you will be assigned to a personal tutor that will assist you in every step of your journey. Having a dedicated tutor will support you even more in your learning process. They will be your personal guide, helping out in case you need any kind of assistance in post-processing or in observing with the Advanced Requests.
